Taste Circles ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This Policy explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

• You provide: name, email, phone, address, guest count, dietary restrictions and allergies, occasion details, and any notes you include in a booking or contact form.
• Contract data: legal name, signature timestamp, IP address at signing, and acceptance of waivers.
• Payment data: processed by our payment provider. We do not see or store full card numbers; we only retain transaction confirmation and the last four digits.
• Automatic: standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamp), cookie identifiers, and basic analytics for site reliability.

2. How We Use It

• To respond to booking requests and operate your evening.
• To prepare menus that respect your allergies and dietary needs.
• To send transactional emails (confirmations, contracts, reminders, post-event follow-ups).
• To send our newsletter only if you've opted in.
• To meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

3. Sharing

We share data only with vendors strictly necessary to deliver your evening: our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider, and our payment processor. These vendors are bound by confidentiality and process data on our behalf. We do not sell personal information.

We may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and property.

4. Retention

• Booking + contract records: retained for 7 years for tax and liability reasons.
• Newsletter subscribers: retained until you unsubscribe.
• Server logs: rotated within 90 days.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures: encrypted transport (HTTPS), encrypted-at-rest databases, role-based access, and least-privilege service credentials. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected guests promptly if a breach materially impacts their data.

6. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@tastecircles.com. Deletion requests are honored except where retention is required by law.

7. Marketing & Unsubscribe

Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Transactional emails (booking, contract, payment) are not subject to opt-out.

8. Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Minors may attend classes only with a parent or guardian who has booked the experience.

9. Changes

We will post material changes on this page and notify recent guests by email.
