You’ll start by crafting a Seasonal Fire-Roasted Salsa, learning to char vegetables directly over the coals to unlock their sweetness and depth. From there, we dive into the art of the perfect sear, mastering heat zones and temperature control for premium cuts. Whether we are working with high-marbled ribeyes or custom requests like A5 Kobe, you’ll learn the techniques that turn a backyard grill into a professional steakhouse.

This class requires a backyard or open outdoor space. We will provide the professional charcoal grill unless a suitable setup is already provided by the host. Weather & Rescheduling Policy Because the Master of the Flame class is a live-fire experience requiring an outdoor backyard or open space, your safety and the quality of the meal are our top priorities. Inclement Weather: In the event of heavy rain, lightning, high winds, or extreme conditions that compromise the safety of charcoal grilling, Taste Circles reserves the right to reschedule the event. Notification Window: We monitor the local San Antonio forecast closely and will coordinate a final "go/no-go" decision with the host at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time. Rescheduling Process: All weather-related postponements will be transitioned to a mutually agreeable future date within 30 days at no additional charge.
